Creative Ensemble

Awesome weekend. Looks like I got this whole week cut out for me. Here's just some of the heavy commissions I'll be working on. 2 motorcycle helmets! I've posted what they look like for now and I'll be taking pictures of the progress of course. By end of June I should be updating a new site for my airbrushing gallery showing a whole range of my services.

I'm looking forward to jumpin' on a few car projects as well. One of my new customers wants his vehicle done up with a 'T-Rex/Godzilla' like theme. Just imagine this as if the car is being pulled from the back half with the creature's own claws ripping the metals off. Cool.

Here's another BMW beast creature on the go. Brooom.

Speaking of cool this buddy loved my dragon design so much he got the tattoo done on himself! It's his first one too. Crazy dude..but right on! Haha. Heal well and thanks man.

A productive weekend and what a way to end the night by having some brainstorming sessions with the deadliest martial artists in the world, lol. *Thank you sensei Jhadan. (By the way Mike, you know who we all are! :P).

Despite how busy we all are in our careers, something as big as this can't be passed by. All I can say is The Science-Ninja Force Team is back! There's going to be a lot of interesting events unfolding in the next few months so stay tuned.

Airbrush, Flames, Bullets & Video Games!

Back in the Club Zone

Did some cool work for a night club early this week. Wow, it's been a while since I've heard some great progressive House music. (I'm in the R&B phase at this point)

I got to collaborate and work with a rockin' talented designer whom I've dubbed 'Designer Mistress', lol. ;). More pics on our interior designs work later on.

My new babies! Just picked these up from Curry's Art Supply yesterday. Two airbrush sets; 1 iwata Revolution HP-TR2 and 1 Vega (specialized for nails and superfine detailing). I've been wanting to get the TR2 model for some quite time now and mannn I love the design! I'll be still giddy over the next few months 'coz I plan on buying a few more series from iwata. Now only if Wacom had an airbrush gun fashioned like these below that'd be sweet :P.

Now that our tattooing school is established, an airbrushing school is in the works!!

Here's one of my newest customer with his proud new shirt. The reason why he's pumped up is because he'll be hosting and talking to one of those American Gladiators, lol. Seriously, funny guy and hope he takes plenty of pics.

Artsy Fartsy

A nightmarish scene from The Dark Universe. Keep an eye out for this one in the upcoming film Buffalo Bushido.
Speaking of films. I can't wait for this one to come out. I got the chance to design one of the toys for this brand through Hasbro. All I can say is I gotta have one of those crystal skulls! and tower ;)
Ah, one of my fav characters in the SF series. Cammy! It's been a while since I've played Street Fighter, but after watching the CG intro for the IV series, wow, the people at Capcom always kicks ass. Well once we get our copy should be fun playing it on this..

Wiiiiii!
After wiping out Locusts in GOW1 with my siblings, we're ready for GOW2!!

Warm and Sunny

The Season of Festivals is happening right now in our home town. It was only a year ago that my family and I were there for a whole month of vacation. Fun times. Can't wait for the next one.

Home Sweet Home

New daily pics from my Dad. That's him doing his morning exercises, lol. Aside from being an all round handy-man, Dad seems to be enjoying being the Gardener.
Here's a tech wiz at work that my Dad has hired. Plans for the new internet cafe at our home town has begun. This latest one will be based near our house.
I think that's a vulcanizing service, haha.
Our town plaza. This is where all the big events takes place and it's barely a minute walking distance from our home.

Just completed this new promotional poster today for one of the books we're working on..*drools..and there's more solid stuff on the way!..Jhadan, Cho-Sen, Chana, Z-Man, F1, Lebo, Massive and Samurai D (aka Davis!) 2008 is just the beginning.

My mutated Siberian Tiger, lol...Grrrr.

Paul Tracy's Champ car. My very own 'robots in disguise' design. You can visit and buy these T-Shirts at the Toronto Motorsports. Keep an eye out for my toy version of this, (right Paul, hehe. ;).

Well when summer hits, I'll finally make use of my sculpting tools ( that's been collecting dust somewhere :P) Dang, just wish I still had that Calibretto (A Mech-Golem from Battle-Chasers) piece from years ago. I now could've easily airbrushed and colored it for display. I still have pictures of those sculptures though so I'll post 'em up next time.

Hiyah.

Return of the Deviant Martial Arts

After many years of absence I've decided to return to an old fav hangout website called..DeviantArt. Yep, I can't believe that site now will be reaching its 8 years anniversary. So much has changed. So many talents and amazing artworks just by browsing through there. Well come visit!

My Dad has sent me these recently from the Philppines. The rest I'll be reposting on Flickr.

Here's a nice view of the front gate of our house, better known as The Mariano Headquarters, lol.
Looks like it's harvesting time. Just one of the many fishponds around.

My Dad's there now. He's hired people to renovate the place. (He's buzzing me right now on MSN as I'm typing this, haha..funny guy. I love this internet technology. )

Can't wait to go this year with the whole fam. One of my good buddies whom I'll call Cho-Sen, is making plans on coming along with us. When it comes to Martial Arts, both him and another mutual buddy of ours named Jhadan are fearsomely amazing. I've mentioned them because they happen to have a lot of knowledge on the Filipino Martial Art disciplines. Like Eskrima, Arnis and Kali for example. Cho-Sen has been wanting to visit my homeland for some time now and he's quite excited about visiting some of the temples and learn from the masters. Heck he's got me hyped, lol. He's already been to Korea more than four times and has gotten some serious dojo trainings. Way to go bro. Ya know I'm next!, lol :P

Man, here I am full Flip and I don't even know squat about some of my countrys own Arts..boo. Well thanks to both of these guys I've come to really appreciate and learn more about my own culture in that way. I guess it's just one of those things I didn't get the chance to learn about when my family and I moved here to Canada. I think it's cool now and going to be some fun journeys ahead. Kiyah.

Fairview Magic

Here's another Dragon inspired piece and poetry from the House of Many Colors.

"Absorbs all that it reflects

This house of many colors
Abundant in its wonders

Histories of Emotions
Elements of rare contents

Constantly in motion
Glimpses of golden moments

Cyclical to the naked eye
Prisms create rainbows

As ye sense the why
Smell the scents flow

Taste all the flavors
Bittersweet to those of pleasures

Unified in voice
Thy destiny of choice

Projecting
Protecting

Numerically
Mathematically

ONE

TWO

THREE

Then doubles".

*Sweet...Love the magic of computers ;) and the power of the Wacom tools. I'm waiting to see if anyone can recognize this wall mural, lol.
