Passing of an Icon

A Filipino Icon has passed away yesterday. Francis Magalona, considered a legend in the Philippine music community died from leukemia at age 44. He was known as the 'King of Pinoy Rap' and credited for pioneering the merging of rap and Pinoy rock. I first heard of Francis way back in the early 90's from my cousin who had a cassette tape of 'Mga Kababayan '. He was so dang good and thanks to him, he's opened the doors and influenced many talents including Parokya ni Edgar, Death Threat and so on..
