Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall 2009

Well it's been one fun busy summer..actually we barely had any summer heat and I can't believe Winter is just around the corner. Plenty of eye candy today so enjoy the view..an 'Oh la la' is all I gotta say!
My Heavy Metal - rock and rollin' theme..Yeoww! Digital/mix medium. I won a cool prize from the original line art version of this piece.
Life drawing sessions. Kids, shes not naked ok, lol.

A fan with his new piece of art. He wanted me to sketch his character on the left. Thanks buddy!
Another fan. Decepticon style. This dude came by twice for me to airbrush two more shirts which I can't post up here 'coz there may be kids reading this blog, lol..Let's just say he's truly a Baddddddd dude, haha.
Venom. Just one of my fav sketches that day..Grahhhhh!
By Crom!..I mean, by Odins Beard..err, I mean Asgard! A commissioned shirt and another satisfied fan.
Showing my buddy Adrian the airbrushing skills. Coloring the God of Thunder at this point. Damn, this was fun and easier than sketching on peoples books. An airbrushing 'sketch-off' would be sick and I would have a blast at these.

Victor Lucas of Electric Playground fame easily took notice of our artwork and just had to do an interview. It was hilarious how he first came by and just was stoked by what we had on display, the posters, and the looping 3D animation on display was very helpful as well and got him very interested in our projects. Funny how he still remembers us from way back at a San Diego Comic Con.
Victor gave us awesome reviews on what were presently doing and looking forward to what we have in store. So there's no doubt we're going in the right direction. We appreciate the big props man! Go EP go!

A relaxing day at work at my fav spot downtown.

Perfect weather for some out door art. Doin' the bullets 'Jackson Pollock' style!, lol..
El finito. A 'lil inspiration from three of my movies, Terminator, Aliens and Predator.

Tattooing. Students practicing on a 'rubber fake skin'.
Keep up the good work guys.

My fav drawing tool on the planet. Gotta love Wacom!
The greatest and my fav tool on the planet. Gotta love Wacom!
and the love shows and I know Wacom loves me too ;)..Send me more toys please! lol.
A sneak peak of what's coming up for next year from a video game/toys design company I'm working at ;)...Storyboarding and behind the scenes. I can't reveal much or else I'd get in trouble, lol, but be assured you will see more of this by next year and mark your calendars. 2010 will be insane.

My recent prize thanks to the power of the tablet. Wacom ishhtheshizznek! There's a new product online that has a dual function of a stylus and a touchpad..oh I must have thee! :D . I was lucky enough to win two Wacoms tablets, and have given it to two of my art buddies. My youngest sister is so used to one of these already I might get one for her for Christmas, hehe.

Sis at the tattoo supply store. Here's the first piece I did for our display.

My other sister getting her first tattoo. She had a scar over her knee so she wanted to cover it up with her fav logo, the Playboy Bunny. Crazy girl, lol.

It begins here. Creating the latest Tattoo wall art canvas for our shop. Size - 5' x 6' feet.
Colors filling in and about 80% there...
Didn't take long and I say I'm ready to battle, lol. This is why I love to mix and do both mediums of Art. I think it transfers well to what I do in the digital realm...
..such as this. This one is titled 'A Distant Journey'.Graffiti and Photoshop.
and finally for some STEEL BREED! You are now witnessing the CGI birth here folks! It's been a long time coming (I was surprised to find out that my initial concept designs go back as far in high school) so I'm excited to unleash these babies out there. Last year I asked a very good friend of mine to help write the story for this concept and here we are, the site is up and running! We hope that many will enjoy our work. Cheers.
