FALL 2010

All the boyz. Cousins and brothers. Can't wait for next years huge gathering!
Unfortunately there's still several family members here from the U.S. who couldn't make it. Next time guys!

Where the heck did the time go. Hello Fall, but I miss Summer already. A lot of amazing stuff happened this year and I don't even know where to begin. I guess I'll start with these!!!...

Feels awesome to have people buy my 1st and 2nd issues of my comic book.
Even better when I see them buy 3 books! ;). ..actually..
It's even really cool when Data say so! (Brent Spiner from Star Trek:TNG fame) picks up a copy for his son. Thanks for the support and keep on following us online! ;) . Honestly I think having drawn and colored two complete issues by myself hasn't fully sunk in yet. It is something to be proud of and such an accomplishment considering how much stuff I've gone through these past months. I thank all the good friends and family for the support! :D
My proud works up on my wall. Cropped off the toys I've done for now. From Left-to-Right: Steel Breed #1, 2A, 2B Variant Cover by my friend Adrian Alphona, and Aschan Preview which debuted last year. Pinup Gallery guests inside the books include: H.Rookwood,S.Chana,A.Alphona,J.Su,V.Delandro,M.Bade, and C.Zanier.

Getting paid to draw people is dang fun and so easy I don't know why I didn't try this sooner, lol.
Haha. I love this series and it's funny 'coz it waay better than the movie. Sorry M.Night but that adaptation of yours was disappointing! Majorly. The Fire Nation shall not forgive you M.Night! HrawwhhhhhH!!!

Meowwwza Selina. Here's a close up rendition of my fav feline. I'm tempted to post the whole illustration on here but I prefer showing it in person :P .Kyah.
Ok try this. Up close and personal. These cats are in trouble now.

Grahh..we the baddest mutha-bleepin' crew out here. Tin foil Turkey. That's what Prime said.

Me Grimlock say yes to the baddest muthas!..
That's just Prime.
Arcee agrees.
I wish this thing could really Transform and crush enemies, lol....
Well this thing can! In the movie at least ;). Wow it's massive. Designing toys for a living is fun, I'm sure the guys who drive these babies can be said the same. All I can say is that Transformers 3 has got to better than the previous sequel! Also, dear Hasbro, please keep sending me more stuff to design. They're fun. They're Super Ubergeeky Cool. I heart them. and the hot chicks dig 'em ;)..
See what I mean. Drawing robots are fun. I don't condone any forms of violence, this one is totally harmless ;) ...
Totally harmless. I'm 5'9" and these Amazons still tower over me, lol.
Luv this shot. Hahaha. Joker.
The inscription says:

Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of ...

...well who else?.. .....T H O R !!!!
Ragin' Green fiend!! GRAHHHH! Can you tell I'm having too much with these captions, lol.
Rough sketch and finished version. Unstoppable. Damm right.
I love 'Tech'ing designs these out. Wait 'till they get a load of these..
Now all I need is more knowledge on how to build these things real life, haha.
It was only a matter of time. Illustrating Star Wars. Woot woot.
Hmm, I'm sure many will wonder what these illustrations are for. Haha, I think I'll keep on drawing and leave it at that. I'm starting to love the Force more and more. In the meantime, enjoy more art candy ;)
Ah. Went a bit overboard on the details here, but hey it's my book and I'm just getting started.

Grand Opening Day.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Day 5. They've assembled the huge indoor playground. The kids were all over the place man, haha.
So far so good. Here's some chaos mess in the foreground, lol.
Fast forwarding to Day 4. Sketched out these letters and my friend hand painted the rocks. Great job dude!
Day 2.
My buddy and I on Day 1. From here we sketched and laid out the ideas and then the main background colors set.
Visiting the location for the first time and showing what it looked like before the mural work.

Steel Breed #1 Sold out!

Ahh, where to begin..These past few weeks have been the most busiest-multitasking-challenging-late night crunchin' days ever. I can easily look back and say, this was easily an insane schedule and I have mostly to thank my good friends and fam in supporting what I love to do.

Before I say anymore, I like to give a BIG shout out to those who bought and picked up our first issue of Steel Breed #1!!! Last week Sunday, I was happy to learn that we've sold all copies by later afternoon.
and here's the lucky dude who purchased our last copy..Stew! Funny thing is I know this guy from way back at Shockstudios!, lol. Thanks again buddy, and keep an eye out for Issue #2 ;)
Keep 'em busy boys. This was early on at the show on Sat. Gotta luv our custom joysticks. Visit here at Arcade Whips.

Buddy turned into a Steel Breed, which he later framed, haha. Cool.
She's got the power. Thanks for buying my book! :D
The fun part about doing these shows are getting to draw some interesting characters. One dude obviously had to come back for more, lol.

My loyal buddies from back in the studio days. Definitely the tightest crew and honestly say best friends for life. I think it's mainly because of the comradery and positive energy we all have in common.
Gotta luv these reunions, lol. The Z-Man (not in pic) is either in Japan or Europe so he couldn't join us :P, haha. Thanks again for the wicked poster man!
The real 'Ghostbusters' Ernie Hudson was walking around looking for some healthy subs when he stopped by our booth and checked out our work. Thank you and hope you enjoyed reading our books on the way back home! :D
A lil highschool reunion here. Yes D, you are famous and our friend there looks like Dave Navarro, lol.
Yo Mikey! From Canadian Idol fame stopped by our booth. He writes:
"Honestly, your artwork is by far among the best in the convention! I am soooo stunned at the quality and colouring of the drawings! Congratulations!"
Filipino talents represent! :D. Haha.

Jimmy Superfly Snuka! Yeah, he was definitely one of my favs back in the glory days of WWF in the late 80's and early 90's. (Along with Coco Beware and The Ultimate Warrior). Him and I are actually in a movie together called 'Buffalo Bushido'. He makes a cameo appearance and my artwork is integrated in the film and trailers. It was just cool of him to give me a free signed autograph photo. Can you believe at his age he's wrestling?, lol..and Jimmy I'll email you those pics!
My writer signing like a mad fiend, lol. Go Steel Breed go!
One of my fav sketches for a friend at A&C Games. Hey I might even color this...Thanks for buying my book dude!
